We are organising a joint ISClim-AIAI meeting in Grenoble on 22-24 June 2026.

The part dedicated to AIAI is taking place on Tuesday 23rd with the following programme:

  • 13h30 - 13h50 : IA-based downscaling of the Greenland surface mass balance, David Salas y Melia (CRNM)
  • 13h50 - 14h10 : Deep learning–based emulator of MAR for surface mass balance estimation in Antarctica: updates and application, Achille Gellens (LSCE)
  • 14h10 - 14h30 : Implementing a neural network emulator of sub-shelf melt in NEMO: progress and planned simulations, Helen Ockenden (IGE)
  • 14h30 - 14h50 : Integrating the emulators in the coupled model IPSL-CM/Elmer-Ice: first steps, Clara Burgard & Ségolène Crossouard (IPSL)
  • 14h50 - 15h20 : Discussion on AI developments in ISClim beyond AIAI
